We made a big purchase back in July 2023 to install a (Planar) Autoterm 2D Diesel heater in our truck camper. We’ll share some of the pros and cons of this unit, and why we believe it’s not the right fit for our truck camper.
We *finally* get the coveted radiator but on their timeline then head south for the winter to begin the longer journey of regular camper maintenance and some cool camper upgrades!
Did you know that radiators are apparently harder to get than Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket? We take you through the last few weeks of our most recent parts saga…
It seems we’ll never get away from it… LEAKS in our camper. We’ll share how we troubleshoot the problem and what we find!
We share actionable things and items to use to keep our camper warm in the winter!
If you’re camping in colder weather, you may have some challenges in trying to flush your tanks at dump stations that don’t have any water to flush your tanks. We’ll show you what we do! And, of course, nothing goes smoothly on move day. Gary also works on trying to fix a problem we ran…
Join us on our full-time RV journey as we tackle a broken solar panel mystery and share some of what we do when we’re back in Illinois for several weeks. And we try out a fantastic microbrewery in Peoria!
Long travel days can mean less than happy campers. That was how some of this trip went. Not everything is sunshine and roses on the road!
