    SeeLevel Tank Monitoring Installation

    04/04/2021
    Season 0 – Before Full-time, Upgrades!

While Gary was working on installing our new Battleborn batteries, I was working on installing this SeeLevel tank monitoring system.

The old level monitor was barely functional so we really wanted to get a better monitor that we could trust.

We ended up going with the SeeLevel tank monitor system, which in general has quite good reviews. The installation was not too difficult for our Cascade but it did take a little time.

The specific version we chose was the closest to replicating the old tank monitor. We purchased this from the RV Upgrade store, but you can also buy on Amazon. I would recommend to buy at the RV Upgrade Store there since you will have the option to customize which size sensors you need.

For our Cascade, we used the standard 12″ 710ES sender for the gray tank, the 16″ 710SS sender for the water tank, and the 6” 710JS for the black tank.

As mentioned in the video, we did find that there were several screws in the console area that were present that had sharp edges. Being a camper, we’ll be bouncing around everywhere and there’s a possibility that some of those smaller wires could get nicked and be damaged (likely over a long time). So, just because… I added some silicone screw caps to several of the screws. You can see it in the video above.
