YouTube is hard. A lot harder than I thought when we first started 3 years ago. I’ll explain where we are, why we’re struggling, and some possible changes going forward.

    Where We Stayed⛺🗺️📌

Twin Mills (Thousand Trails) – Howe, IN Roadtrippers

Not an awful place, but not a great place either. We came in after the 4th of July and unfortunately my first impression stuck – Garbage overflowing in the dumpsters and the Thousand Trails sites were on the other side of the road. In a gated location, though, so that was cool.

There was an old broken down RV on the right as we were driving in, with pine straw bales around it. It certainly didn’t send good vibes. The entrance to the area we were staying in was confusing and the trees are in desperate need of trimming.

Sites are a bit awkward – we had a tree in the middle of ours that we had to maneuver around. Not impossible, but just weird. Electric and water at the site, dump station (which was very nice) on this side. The dump station near the main office was not as nice. So we had that going for us.

It was a quiet campground, though. Lots of squirrels to keep you occupied and you could walk down to the small lake/pond on premises which also has a beach. The seasonal areas seemed pretty well-kept. Just wish they’d get rid of that creepy RV coming in.

On the plus side, the small campstore was quite nice, the folks that were working there were very friendly and helpful, and we were able to get packages shipped there. So still worth stopping, in our opinion.
