Got an Onan Generator? Watch THIS to prevent the BOOM ! |e168

If you have an Onan generator, please take the time to open up the cover and inspect your propane fuel lines. Our generator was built in 2017 and the propane lines were in AWFUL shape and could cause what we in engineering would call a “thermal event” aka BIG BOOM.

    STUFF WE BOUGHT

The Onan Generator hoses we purchased were confirmed through the Onan rep. We called using their phone number: 1-800-CUMMINS. We’d recommend confirming whether these will fit your Onan – just have your serial number for your unit and they can help. For reference, ours was a 2017 generator – The SN starts with an “I” and the next 2 digits are the year it was made.

     Onan Fuel Hose – A041E044
     $51.56
     Onan Vent Hose – A043A369
    $5.47
(we chose to not replace this since doing so while in place wouldn’t be possible)
     Onan Fuel Hose – A041E042
     $54.97
