Unplanned Adventures:  Snow, Hail, and my FAVORITE. Animal. EVER! | Truck Camper Travels | e157

    10/23/2023
    2023, Montana, Season 5 – Go WEST(ish)!, Wyoming

In this episode, join us on our journey through Montana and Wyoming, experiencing snowy landscapes, unexpected hailstorms, and the excitement of encountering my FAVORITE animal in the wild! This video captures the essence of RV life, confirming that it’s the unplanned moments that make for the best memories.

    Where We Stayed⛺🗺️📌

We’re sharing our camping and other locations on iOverlander (boondocking, etc.) and Campendium (established campsites).

Soda Butte Campground, Silver Gate, MT – (Link to iOverlander) (Link to Campendium)

This was the first campground we found after getting out of Yellowstone. The campground was spacious and beautiful, though we were only there one night. We were in the off-season so the camp host wasn’t there but there were trash receptacles (yay!). Beautiful area – they do require hard-sided campers though.

Sitting Bull Campground, Ten Sleep, WY – (Link to iOverlander) (Link to Campendium)

Just an overnight stay, but sites were spacious and the campground was well taken care of. We arrived after the campground has closed for the season, so no services, but it was also free! Sites were generally all level and we were nicely tucked in under trees for the night.

    Our Journey Map⛺🥾🗺️📌

We also have a currently free map on Google with all of the places we’ve stayed along with the related video and links to more detailed reviews on iOverlander , Campendium and Google Maps.
