Arches National Park too Crowded? We have some ideas! | e124 Truck Camper RV Travels

    04/23/2023
    2023, Season 5 – Go WEST(ish)!, Utah

We’re staying around Moab, UT for this week and make our way to Arches National Park. We’re not big crowd people and there are a TON of folks at Arches. We ended up finding a great hike that was much less crowded along with an AMAZING lookout just south of Moab that was perfect for some solitude from the crowds.

    โ›บ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ๐Ÿ“ŒOur Camping Locations

We’re sharing our camping and other locations on two sites:

โœ…iOverlander – boondocking sites as well as dump stations, water, laundry etc.

    โœ…Campendium – mainly established campgrounds

We also have a currently free map on Google that has all of the places where we’ve stayed along with the related video and links to more detailed reviews on iOverlander , Campendium and Google Maps.

Right off Needles Overlook Road (La Sal, UT)

This spot is at the end of a dirt track to the south of Looking Glass Rd. The road is easily accessible for medium clearance passenger vehicles/vans and camper trailers. RVs I’m unsure, there’s a higher grassy middle to the road and a few dips/slanted sections.

Off 10-mile road (South of Canyonlands Field airport, Moab, UT)

We stopped here for a few days (again to wait out some weather). Nice area but you are exposed to winds.

    Walmart Parking Lot (Springville, UT)

Had to grab some medications and groceries and this fit the bill.
