Kelvin matters – Which RV replacement bulbs should you buy? No crappy blue lighting! |E8

    05/30/2021
    Upgrades!

Our RV was outfitted with LEDs (YAY) but they were the cool white (blue) LEDs (5500 K)(not so YAY). We’ve been talking for quite some time about replacing them, however the actual replacement for these bulbs at a lower 3500K would cost $3.50 PER BULB!

For those of you interested, I found the link to the actual costly replacement bulbs here: https://www.joslynjourney.com/get/host-leds/

These are the LEDs that we purchased that were the soft white (2700-3000K). In hindsight, these were probably a bit *too* yellow
I think these are more of the Goldilocks version – not too yellow, not too blue. These are the Natural white versions (3500-4000K).

These are slightly different, but you can also select different color temperatures. I purchased the soft white (2700-3000K) but I’m thinking the best of both worlds would be to select the Natural White (3500-4000K). After living with the soft white, I think the middle ground would have been best.
